Overview
You would like to use an external (hardware) load balancer (eg: Radware) using two physical node Aurea Process (CX Process) clusters, configured with an Apache httpd proxy server on the master node.
You would like to know whether this is supported and how to configure Aurea Process.
Information
External (hardware) load balancers can be used with the Aurea Process cluster. But in that case, the cluster configuration is not handled at the Aurea Process clustering deployment level for these external proxies, rather it has to be done by your network/sysadmins, by creating the load balancing rules in the external load balancer's rule table.
If you want to handle clustering at the Aurea Process application level, then you need to know that the Aurea Process' Cluster Configuration Tool requires you to have a software load balancer configured in the first place. It can be disabled later and load distribution can be done by an external proxy of your choice.
