Missing js files and folders from ext directory

Overview

You are using BPM Portal version 2018 and might see 404 errors while rendering tasks on SBM Portal because files and folders are missing. Even the entire adapter folder is missing from the location along with a few other JS that are present in the 2015 environment.

Solution

Note: The issue is applicable only for product version 2018 which is EOL version.  It is recommended to upgrade to the latest version.

To optimize the product we have removed some of the folders but custom JSP created in older versions are still using old files.
To provide backward compatibility the files were included in the installation in Aurea Process 10.0.20.1(HF01 for 2020 R1) release (see Aurea Process 2021 R1 Release Notes, issue ID SBM-68537). Please follow the 2020 R1 Hotfix installation guide.
